It's long!  Most of it is stuff I've come across in the past.  I spent about four years researching this and related topics for my own interest's sake and I gotta say that there have been so many lies from the Bush administration that no matter what else happened, they're hiding things in order to promote an adgenda of their own.  You can glean that just from reading newspapers from 2001-2002 and see them say one thing one day and a contradictory thing the next--just so long as it gets them what they want.  And you don't wanna know how much they've paid Madison Avenue to construct advertising campaigns for influencing the public on these issues.

Anyways, it's a big topic and I've read thousands of pages on it. There are some scary books out there that do a good job of outlining facts about it all if you're interested.

I watched it Brainzy with interest. I am, as I have said many times, a complete cynic and can see that there is a lot of inconsistency about what happened on that awful day. I must admit I never quite got the bit where the towers collapsed- seemed odd to me and I watched a very detailed explaination for the collapse a few years ago and I was not convinced by the science( and I studied engineering science at college- not that I am an expert, I do understand the physics though). The motives behind the conspiracies are clear enough from Pearl Harbour, to JFK. As I have zero faith in policiticians I keep an open mind.

I'm as wary of conspiracy theories as I am about political 'truths'. Particularly those that come out America, which frankly is the land of conspiracy theories.
-Roswell,
-JFK
-9/11
-New Orleans
and so on

I read a critic once who was writing that Americans love conspiracy theories simply because it re-affirms at some subconscious level the proof that their government is always in control; as in 9/11, it was organized by the government, so the US government is always in control. I don't know what I make of that, but I mentioned it out of interest.

But anyway, I want to watch this so I'll try and find time. I'm just very sceptical about any media which is coming with an obvious bent, be that pro-political or anti-political. Believe nothing! Become a nihilist! :)

yer willo, im usually like you- generally sceptic... but seeing this video and some other stuff really has convinced me... for example, the official explanation that the fusilage of the boeing that was supposed to have hit the pentagon, was incinerated by the fire of the jet fuel, is actually physically impossible as the metal that the planes are made of have a wayyyyyyy higher melting point than that....

That is one of the most insightful comments I've read in along time.

The psychological benefit of believing in some sort of “order” is so powerful the human mind will do almost anything to place inexplicable or random events into some intelligible “map”.

Any theory is more useful as a coping mechanism.

Now I’m gonna watch this clip and see what you guys mean.

yeh your right dave... and +1 on Ians comment....

whether people are believing the government and pointing the finger at terrorists or whether people are the opposite and pointing the finger at the governemnt, theres less focus on the actual event... like you said- a theory is a coping mechanism....
