here's a new song called "through the eyes of a traitor"

The quality on soundclick sounds terrible compared to the actual quality of the recording so please don't think this is actually what it sounds like.

by all means comment on the song either positive or negative

Sounds good but I'm not sure I can work out what the lyrics are!

That recording sounds ok to me.

Hey man, awesome stuff. The rhythm tone is tight and very chunky, what amps did you use to record? ADA? The vocals and drums are a lot clearer then your last demo.

However the intonation on the solo sounds slightly off. Good work though, keep in touch for the songs to follow.

Thanks for listening guys.

For the rhythm tone we used my Ibanez 7 string through a Mesa Mark IV. No boost pedals or effects. It was recorded dry and sound awesome even in the rough stages.

For the lead tone I used the producers Ibanez with a Duncan JB through the Mark IV again. I would of used one of my guitars but a bloody string broke and buggered up all the intonation.

I'm not a big fan of screamy vocals either, i like the voices of Eric Martin from Mr Big and Geoff Tate from Queensryche, so sometimes the vocals do get on my tits. But i think it works well within the current setting.
