Just got my hands on No Gravity, the solo cd from Angra axeman Kiko Loureiro.

Its fantastic!! Anyone else heard it?

hes Brazilian.. some cultural music makes a welcome appearance in places

he plays a custom 27 fret Tagima & Stafford guitars, his gear pages on his website are pure guitar candy 8)

It could be Satch or Vai at times, the playing is that good :)

Plenty of tracks to listen to on the website.. have a look :D

I'm glad i'm not the only guy on this message board who loves his music. I haven't got a hold of his solo album yet but i've loved everything he's done in Angra. Totally amazing guitarist, very very underated.

I know the guy, I used to be v into angra back in the days. Hes one of these guitarists who can do all the techniques, chordal tapping, sweep picking, legato and wicked fingerstyle. According to a friend of mine he made a name for himself by playing Ynqwie covers in clubs when he was a kid :D

Lol indysmith thats utter BS, you can dance to anything if youre crazy enough :shock: I can't (wouldnt want to) dance to beethoven but its sure as hell is music!
