looking for pickups for my prs se standard 24 and ltd ec-1000fr

so my guitar tech reommnded i try some bare knuckles and said he can get it for me in half price since he has a lot of them.
i mainly play pantera, anthrax, metallica, megadeth, exodus, ozzy osbourne band, opeth and machine head and gojira and racer x.
which pickup combination would be best for me and for the specific guitar, i can say the prs is my main guitar just because honestly i could give less if someone stole it as it doesnt cost much.
the ltd didnt come with the actives it comes with usually i got it second hand and it has dimarzio air classic set, which i dont think works in that guitar.

Hi and welcome.

The stock pickups on the PRS SE standard 24 should be the 85/15S. The bridge pickup should work ok for some of the bands mentioned but probably not so well for the heavier stuff. The neck pickup IMHO has to go. What exactly to recommend I am unsure since you have not said what you specifically dislike about the stock pickups and what you want more/less of.

As regards the Ltd - the DiMarzio Air Classics are fine pickups but they would not be my first choice for the bands you mentioned. For that specific guitar I would lean towards pickups with not too much midrange, e.g. Cold Sweat, Rebel Yell or True Grit.
