Yeah? I haven't used EB strings in forever. I have a set of BKPs coming, so I don't wanna change strings just yet, since I'll have to do it when they get here anyways. Maybe I can dig out my old Martin string cleaner and see what that does with it.

I suppose I should change the strings though. I was gonna do a before and after set of clips and it wouldn't be quite fair to have the old pickups matched with the old strings and the BKPs with new strings. Waste of strings though! Gah!

I went into a guitar store and played a new Ibanez HZ once, and after a couple minutes, I had the black hand too. It turned out they did'nt finish with the fret dressing. It was like liquid metal coming off the fretwire. Could it be that? Check your shirt/pants, too> :?:

How would the frets do that? Surely all the black would come off eventually, right?

Black Diamonds will do that too, or at least they would years ago when I used them. You still may need a tetnus shot though. :lol:
