True.  I love the original Ibanez Wizard neck and the early 60s Gibson taper/SG neck.  Wide-ish and very thin.  Perfect.  I wrap my thumb round the neck so it's very comfortable to me, but more classical styled players find them very cramping.

i sometimes get cramps in my hand on my charvel too. depends on what i do and what i play, but i'd prefer a slightly fatter neck.

Another idea.
Try a yamaha Rgx TT.
It's a very good guitar.Pickups are great and it's quite affordable in second hand  :D

I love the neck on my Charvel 6 with jumbo frets made from stainless steel. It's what you get used to. I like my Strat too but it takes a while to adjust but when I have I think that's great too.
