Request: VHIIs doing high end solos
« on: July 18, 2006, 05:43:42 PM »
Tim Recommended a pair of VHIIs for my SG and since I have no possibility to come and test the pups myself, I have to settle for sound clips.

So please, share your awesome solos with VHIIs. Any guitar with any kind of body will do, as long as it has VHIIs in it, but if anyone has an SG with these and would like to share his/her solo, well that could possibly inspire a couple spontanious "HOO ROO!"s and even perhaps an odd "YEEHAA!"

THANKS!

Here are a few various snips. If there's something specific you'd like to hear, let me know:

Ok, I'll give that a "WOOHAA". Thanks for posting. Those sounded a bit heavy though. I play mostly progressive and psychedelic rock, with a sort of hendrixy sound. I play lead guitar so the solos play a huge role for me.  So if possible, make that guitar sing, scream and cry.

I've not spent a long time with this take it's just a simple 1,4,5 Progression in Minor with a single improvisation take.

But it gives an idea of the VHII.

The clean was recorded with a VHII, Irish Tour in Position 2 on a strat.

The Lead is mostly VHII although theres a few licks on the Cold Sweat but u can hear the difference.
