FOR SALE: High-quality Telecaster body and neck & pedals
« on: January 05, 2007, 10:58:46 AM »
Firstly, I apologise if selling stuff is prohibted on here. If so, kindly accept my apologies and close the thread. Not a problem at all.

I have a Telecaster project body and neck for sale in case anyone is interested. I've had them for about a year and never got round to doing anything with it for various reasons and now funds are lacking, I'm saving for deposits and I have a holiday to pay for so I've decided to sell and maybe buy a cheaper Tele to do up with the rest of the parts later on this year.

*

BODY: Solid ash, beautiful flamed maple top and a tobacco sunburst finish. In perfect condition apart from a 1-2cm nick on the back which happened during the original posting. It's not very noticeable at all as it's only shallow and on the black part of the burst... and it's on the back so nobody would see.

Routed for standard Tele setup, ie, two singlecoil pickups, fixed bridge and the long Tele control plate.

NECK: Solid maple neck with a smooth maple fretboard, fits the neck pocket on the body perfectly - a nice snug fit.

Neck has a clear satin finish, 'C' shape profile, 21 frets, fits the body's neck pocket perfectly... 25-1/2" scale length, 9-1/2" radius, 1-11/16" nut and 2-3/16" heel.

*

PRICES: I'd hope for about £120-130 for the body and £75-85 for the neck. Postage would be courier (so that's about £15-20 a piece and roughly the same for the pair. The neck isn't too heavy but I'd hate it to get damaged... and the body is quite heavy... well, as heavy as Tele's go.

Ideal scenario as far as I'm concerned would be around £200 for the pair and someone to collect them in person. I could travel to, say, Liverpool or Manchester and that way you don't have to worry about postage... we all know how "delicate" some postmen/couriers can be.

COLLECTION WOULD BE BEST ADVISED IF YOU WERE CLOSE ENOUGH!!

WILL LISTEN TO SENSIBILE OFFERS!!

Only really selling to the UK as postage elsewhere would be pricey but I suppose I'd consider it.

If anyone is interested in both/either bits, either reply here or drop me an email at captain_stubert@yahoo.co.uk

Thanks for looking, again - hope this isn't out of line.

Red Witch Analog Fuzz God: RRP in the UK is about £149 plus postage. This badboy is in absolutely perfect condition and comes in it's original bag, little carry bag thing and has the instructions. It comes with a battery in too so it's ready to go straight out of the box.

PRICE: £140 with FREE standard Royal Mail postage (uninsured) but if you would prefer me to send it via Special Delivery (insured and guarenteed next day "sign-for" delivery then it would cost an extra £5).

Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion: RRP in the UK is around £48 plus postage. This is in very, very good condition and they usually sell for around £35 plus P+P on eBay. No original box or instructions (they weren't supplied to me when I bought it) but I assure you it will be well packaged to arrive safely.

PRICE: £35 with FREE standard Royal Mail postage (uninsured) but if you would prefer me to send it via Special Delivery (insured and guarenteed next day "sign-for" delivery then it would cost an extra £5).

MXR M-103 Blue Box: RRP in the UK is around the £75-80 mark inluding postage. This is an older pedal and the foam on the underside is a bit tatty but cosmetically the pedal is in good condition and it works absolutely perfectly. Again, no original instructions or box but the unit will be safely packaged to survive posting.

PRICE: £40 with FREE standard Royal Mail postage (uninsured) but if you would prefer me to send it via Special Delivery (insured and guarenteed next day "sign-for" delivery then it would cost an extra £5).

Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor: RRP is around £50 I think. In very good condition, works absolutely perfectly and has little cosmetic damage if any. I THINK this has the original manual but I would have to double-check on that.

PRICE: £30 with FREE standard Royal Mail postage (uninsured) but if you would prefer me to send it via Special Delivery (insured and guarenteed next day "sign-for" delivery then it would cost an extra £5).
