neck single coil to go with sinner or warpig
« on: July 31, 2006, 07:05:02 PM »
hi all,

just browsing on the BKP site for a neck single to match a warpig in the bridge position for a new guitar i just got on ebay. i thought it might be nice to customise it to a mildly unusual H/S configuration with Gibson-like controls.

i was thinking of a sinner neck and then saw that there is no such thing as the sinner is available in bridge only. so this leads to two questions:

the 'just out of interest' question:

* what middle and neck pickups would work well then with a sinner bridge?

and obviously the 'real' question: ;)

* which neck single coils would match the warpig in terms of power for interesting combined H+S sounds? then i could think about the character of it from the description and clips.

thanks as always for informed advice.

you wouldn't use the meat knife on crusty bread but, equally, the serrated knife and straight edge knife aren't going to go through raw meat as quickly
