Something to go with my NB
« on: August 24, 2006, 05:00:19 PM »
I'm looking for a replacement pup for either mid or neck (mid is a single coil, neck is HB).

At present I have a nailbomb in the bridge and it's awesome for metal and lead. But I want (read - NEED) another BKP to keep the nailbomb company on those lonely nights.

I'm not sure what to replace but it would probably be the neck HB, which I use for clean stuff like jazzyness and bluey stuff and acousticy stuff. The single coil I don't use too often but I find myself using it now and again (but not as much as the HB's).

Thanks for any advice chaps :)

Cold Sweat works well with Nailbombs.

I put my money in the suitcase
And headed for the big race
I felt a chill on my backbone
As I hung up the telephone

Stone cold sober and stone cold sweat
Running down the back of my neck
To lose means trouble, to win pays double
And I got me a heavy bet

Cold, Cold Sweat
"Do not go gentle.........Rage"

What sort of sound does a cold sweat have, perhaps in comparison with the 'bomb?

If I recall correctly, the Abraxas neck is based on a Mule. Great pickup.
