Liam, do you find that Irish people are never happy unless everyone around them is (at least on the way to getting) drunk?

I remember going to my (irish) grandmother's house when I was about 14, and a conversation that went something like:

"D'you want something to drink James?"

"Yeah, I'll have some water"

"Are you sure? I've got whiskey"

:drink:

He he. I am a paid up English man (you know all Logbows and Steak and Kidney puds). Then I found out all my "real" as opposed to "adopted" family is English...no matter, well all drink too much, far too much.

Going to a little chef on the way home. Basically decided to stop off at a little chef for something to eat and my car was broken into. They stole my White Ibanez Jem, ADA MP-1 three tube modded, Lexicon reverb unit, Carvin poweramp, ADA cabinet simulator, my Scarface DVD :D and a whole bunch of other shite.

I avoid little chefs like the plague now.

Regrets:

1. That mid 80s, when I bought my first guitar, I said I like Mark Knopfler and took the Tokai Strat instead of the Les Paul.

2. That beginning of the 90s when I bought a really expensive Guitar I saved up for a long time, I took the Hamer FloydRose instead of the Charvel Strat.

3. That I gave away my original Ibanez TubeScreamer

4. That I sold my Rivera Knucklehead/Marshall 4x12 at least 400 EUR below value just because I needed the money so badly (for my first Mac:)

5. That I have two broken headstock guitars because of shitey guitar stands on stage

6. That on the greatest gig of my life my cable was too short to walk across stage to the other guitar player to do the back to back posing thing

7. That I had to go through Boogie, 5150, Recto, Rivera, THD and Engl heads before I got the Bogner Shiva

8. That I spent money on other pickups than BKP

9. That I studied economics and not guitar

10. That I bought a too small pedal board
