Trem springs

In a nutshell.....kinda.

More springs will reduce trem sag and improve tuning stability (especially when a string breaks). More springs combined with screwing the claw into the body will improve sustain as theoretically more energy is moving through the body via the trem block.

At least, thats my understanding. I have my strat setup with 5 springs and a flush claw and the sustain is far better than is was previously.

Jordan.
