Sinner

I've had a Sinner in the bridge of my Strat for a while now, and love the way it sounds. I was just curious about something though.

BKPs seem to be named after artists with a similar tone.
Trilogy = Malmsteen
Apache = Shadows
Mothers Milk = RHCP
etc.

Who or what is the Sinner named after? Or is it just because it's one seriously sinful single coil  :twisted:

I reckon it's after an early Judas Priest vibe - Glenn Tipton was a strat user in the early days (before the Hamers)...
BKPs: HD, MM, NB, PK, CS, Ab (b&n); Am (b only); VHII, Tril (n only); IT, Slow, Sult (m&n)

The Sinner name definitely comes from Judas Priest, but I'm guessing it's based on a KK Downing tone rather than a Tipton one.  The long, whammy-bar crazy solo in Sinner is KK on his white '69 Strat with a left-handed neck.  I think!
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Just dusted off my old Judas Priest albums and you're quite right, there it is on the 'Sin After Sin' album, a track called 'Sinner'. Didn't realise how much influence Priest have had on my tone.

Thanks for the info.
