maybe I'm being stupid to consider replacing my Miracle Man in the bridge with something with more output (warpig)... maybe output and power aren't the answer...

Tim is insisting that I should consider the new Painkiller for a replacement for the Miracle Man.

But it looks like the Miracle Man has more output... and the Piankiller says "British Sound" and those 2 things make me have my doubts...

would the Painkiller do the progressive Heavy thrash fast riffing nicely? and pair with the cold sweat for ultra shredding?

I wanted to know the advantages of the Painkiller VS the Miracle Man.

and yes... I've used the search function and the player section can't respond this questions....

thanks

The Painkiller is a very heavy pickup. It's got incredibly fat mids, tight bass responce and the high end is biting but doesn't sound like an ice pick being jammed into your ears. It does heavy styles better than fine and i love it.

If it STILL doesn't make you happy, then you should maybe look into a boost pedal which i shouldn't think you need as the Mark IV had plenty of gain

Mark II C+ is an absolute demon of an amp.. best boogie ever!, how can you get a bad sound out of it?!.. Mark IV's rock aswell..

I'd say the Miracle Man is great for what u've suggested I loved mine, but wanted something less powerful..

in no way I'm getting a bad sound from my IIC+!!  :D .

I do like my Miracle Man but I also want to try some other pickups so I can have a solid choice with my setup.

just need some opinions on the Painkiller to see if I'm missing something. I may try it out and if I don't like it I'll stay with the Miracle Man
