Ok, so I put a Mississippi Queen in the neck for my blues-rock/southern rock tendencies, and a Warpig in the bridge for my metal moments.

What do the masses say?

EDIT: Sorry, this should really be in the form of a question. Another "Advise Please" topic, if you prefer.

That should work. The MQ is a great neck single coil to pair up with a bridge humbucker.

Will probably work a lot better together than might at first be  imagined.
Each pickup excels at it's own function but will be more versatile for other sounds and textures too

Some other forum members have that combo and are very happy with it.

You don't say what guitar you will use.  I have this combo in an Explorer and it works great, and I have played an SG with it and once again it smoked.
So many pickups, so little time

I was gonna say I was pretty sure PhilKing has the Warpig/MQ combo in at least one guitar :)

That's because I'm not quite sure what I'm getting yet. Supposedly I'm getting two guitars for Christmas. If I don't like the feel of either, I'll sell them and depending on the profit from that, either a Les Paul Studio or a PRS SE Singlecut.

I'm rather fond of wide necks, so I don't know.

Or you could get a pig-90 in the neck

I don't see it on the product list anywhere, and though I'm pretty sure I could get one in humbucker form, I'm gonna be pressed for cash as it is.

So I still don't know. >_<

Hot damn. Got to my dad's house, and the guitar he bought me is a fat-strat.

So, still a warpig in the bridge? Sinners or something else in the other spots?

Advise please.
