Short or Longshaft pots for my Gibson SG
« on: March 06, 2007, 07:03:05 PM »
Hi Y'All,

I was planning on changing the fried & crackly pots in my SG for some nice new ones, probably 500K for more top end.
The question is, should I get the short or longshaft pots?
And should I replace them with Gibson pots, or go with another manufacturer??

Many, many thanks!
BM

Short pots would be my advice
Go for CTS or CGE

Agreed!  I always use CTS and I'm very happy with them.
