So, in the end (on Tim's recommendation) I went for Mississippi Queens for my SG, and Trinity Suites for my Strat...
I can just about wait...Actually I'm going to have to... the guy who's fitting them to my strat goes on holiday for 2-3 weeks after Christmas... :(

In the meantime... just a question for the future... what kind of humbuckers would you recommend for a semi-acoustic with a pot for coil splitting? (Vintage advance) And what kind of single coils for a 12 string (Burns Double 6)?

For splitting I believe VHIIs are the best choice, they are also real good allrounders and work in many different kinds of guitars, just check with Tim, as they might be too bright for a maple semi ...
