Help out a guy in need.

Hey guys, you probably have seen me asking for "what BKP's should I get?"

Well, I'm back. I'm planning on getting a pair of these pups for Christmas and I came back to ask you once again.

What BKP's will suite me. Now, before you go off saying, "BUT JUST GO TO JOOR OLD THREAD N00b!!" Well, my liking in music changed a bit...so i need more opnions, thanks.

Now, I'm currently using EMG's right now. They're really tight pups, but truthfully, I'm wishing for some pups that could be a bit more versatile than these.

Hmm, okay, now that I think of it, maybe this is a bit of  de ja vu.

Anyway, my liking tends to lean on the...
Hardrock - AC/DC, Guns n' Roses
Classic Rock - Led Zeppelin, Cream, etc
Classic Bluesy Rock - ...you get the idea :P
Honestly, I think I'm getting a bit tired of the loud, metal thrashing tone...I don't even know. :(

Anywho, like I stated, I like Jimmy and Slash's tone...very much so actually. I emailed Tim the other day and he reccommended a pair of mules to set my versatility needs (agrees?).

I appologize for the long opening post, I just don't want to drop 400 big ones on something I won't appreciate.

Thanks alot guys!

Cheers!

*EDIT*: Oh wow, I was just wandering around the BKP site and I found that a local guitar store that I'm going to soon work at gets these pups shipped in!  (it's like a 5 minute drive). :P

Tim's usually right, and the Mules are great pickups.

Looking at your "tone touchpoints", I'd have said Mules, too!  8)

Mules rule!

I would have plumped for these even before reading that Tim had recommended them.
Mules (Eggle Berlin), Piledriver/Yardbird (CV Tele Thinline)
Egnater Tweaker 15
