I put a pair of MQ's in my Gibson ES-137 and I really like them nice and crunchy/raw like a good P90 but with a nice tight low-end and high's that don't cut your head off...now mind you my 137 is a semi-hollow and a dark/resonate one at that so in a solid body I'd imagine them being a little brighter.

I have a couple of them, one in the bridge of a walnut guitar and the other in the neck of an Explorer.  They both sound great, the sound of a P-90 but with much less noise.  I'm sure you will love the sound.

Ah, I recently saw Muse here in Germany.  They put on a fantastic show.  This post is otherwise irrelevant.
