ToadWorks Death Rattle

Ok, I've got the chance to aquire one of these at a very reasonable price, and I was wondering if anyone Had any experience with them.

It'll be going between a P-90'd eggle and a Laney VC-30, for some stoner tones. Is it:

a) A decent enough Pedal.
b) Suitable for pushing the Amp harder when it's already driving, or best into a clean amp
c) A better option than the EH metal muff

Any help appreciated. I've got Overdrive GAS like mad this week. Next Week, tremolo.

Personally i'd go for EH Metal Muff, though i have only heard the sound clips of the Toadworks one on their site.

i heard that the Death Rattle is only a light dist pedal: for putting in front of a dirty amp for added gain and tightness...... i thought it was a death metal pedal at first! lol

I really really like it. Just like I really like all the Toadworks stuff.

Loads of sounds in it, but, as with all their pedals, it does take a lot of experimenting to get the best sounds.
