It's hard choosing pickups, isn't it?

In the end I managed to narrow it down to... oh, about five different Bare Knuckles, and in truth they'd probably all have done the job. From what I've heard, the pickups are all great sounding and quite versatile.

Anyway, Neil at Morgan Custom guitars had a VHII going spare. A customer had ordered a guitar with a VHII and changed their mind. So I've been able to buy a VHII at a reduced price, thus solving my dilemma. Not that I would choose pickups based on price, but I needed something to give me a nudge, and here it is.

My VHII arrived this morning, hopefully I'll have enough time after work and ferrying my son to his Taekwondo lesson to fit into a strat and do some soundclips thro a Marshall!

Now I am, as you know, a single coil kind of player but whenever I have heard the VH11 clips I have always loved them so that is great news Mr Scaramanga. I do hope you will let us know what you think...as if you wouldn't :) .

bro I hear you on how hard it is to choose pickups, in the end I listen to as many clips as I can, check out what Tim says and then say a little prayer and then go for it...
