So i went to sound control today to try out the Tiny Terror... its nice, i guess.

Then i spotted those gibson melody makers... i've been meaning to try out these p90's for a long long time. I've never played through one before.

And they are SPOT ON! exactly what i've been looking for for this guitar!

I've never liked H/S/S because it always seems to sound like a completely other guitar when switching between H and the S's. I'd expect the gap to be less obvious with a P90?

So... MQ in the bridge... but what single coils to go with it?

Im not interested in single coil 'squacky' sounds, infact i'd like to avoid them... at least in the neck, i guess they can be usefull in the mid...

So, suggestions? :) i'd like something fat sounding but i'll make do with the p90 for that i guess!

I'd take a wild guess at Irish Tours or Slow Hands, the output should be similar... I think. (hope?)
