Bon Jovi jam with Mules!
« on: February 08, 2007, 08:01:47 PM »
lovely cheesy backing track here  I always follow the HCEG backing jam threads and todays was jamming along to Living on a Prayer :D

I may have overused the pinch harmonics a bit, and theres loads of wrong notes and badly executed bends, but the tone aint bad I guess.

Didnt get to use my Laney on this clip, so its the V-Amp 2 on modern hi-gain setting.

Nice tone Tom.

Sounds like I do when I play Jovi on one of my RGs - pinched squeals everywhere and whammy abuse galore!

Its the first time ive heard you play out of key! But the tone was good, the start sounded like George Lynch jamming to Jovi.
Mule,Trilogy,Irish Tours,Holy Diver and Apaches.

Yeah, well sometimes you just feel the need to pile on the harmonics :D My Guthrie Govan creative guitar book should be here tomorrow so hopefully I can learn to use something other than pinch harmonics to make my playing sound exciting

Thanks for the comments steve, although I wouldnt ever compare myself to Lynch I really like his lead style so its good to hear that its apparently slightly coming through in my playing  :D
