Anyone else going to see Kreator & Celtic Frost 17th?
« on: March 05, 2007, 11:02:24 PM »
I'm gonna book my ticket tomorrow :D Missed Necrophagist due to transport issues but I'm gonna go by myself to this so my car wont be weighed/slowed down by passengers

tbh I've not heard much Celtic Frost, they sound pretty good from the few clips I've just seen on youtube though. Should be fun :)

Yeah thats what I'm thinking so far.. only heard 1 Celtic Frost song I really got into. Hopefully Kreator are on first, guess I should find out so if they arent I dont have to leave so early.

The 1hr 30m trip on the M1 in my tiny Seicento should be.. interesting to say the least

Not heard much Celtic Frost?! Bah!

You should check out the first 3 or so albums they are kickass.
Kreator will rule but i find them to be a bit repetative sometimes.

I went to see Kreator the last time they were in London. They had Hatesphere (very very good band), some band that were a Soulfly clone (i forget their name because they're that terrible), Dark Tranquility (very boring).

Kreator were pretty intense and were incredibly tight, really knew how to get the crowd going. Their guitar tone was super heavy too.

The last Celtic Frost album is really good - well worth a listen.  Never heard Kreator in years - last album I bought was Extreme Aggressions (and it rules).

They're not playing anywhere near Newcastle (typical) so I'll not be getting to see either of them.

 :(

I always say this, but I just dont see the fun in hurting/being hurt by other people - thats all moshing seems to be :? I like to listen to the music, not worry about who I'm going to hit next..
