Seymour Duncan 59 neck
Seymour Duncan JB bridge

What would be the closest BKP to this combination.

Thanks

If you want something very close to those are you not just as well buying the SD's?

Agreed.  BKPs have a sound of their own.  Although if you could explain what it is about those pups you like, and how you'd like them to be, we can suggest suitable BKPs to try  :D

on the most superficial of levels, and because no-one has given an actual answer, I'll start the ball rolling with Mule neck and Holydiver bridge.

The Mule neck is Alnico IV and the SD 59 is Alnico V if I'm not mistaken. You might just want to stick with a Holy Diver set or maybe get a VHII neck. Though neither woiuld sound exactly like the 59, they would sound better. :D

My guess:

JB - Holy Diver
'59 - Riff Raff

JB - Rebel Yell
59 - Mule

I think that would get you very very close, I think the HD might be a bit agressive and the RY wud have more harmonic content and be much more refined for the JB feel.. imo.

I would go with a set of Crawlers.  I have at the moment a RY in my Guild that replaced a JB and the sound is very different.  The RYs are a lot punchier and have more mids + less bass than the JB.
BKPS: Cryogenic Apache set, Mule set, Riff Raff, Stormy Monday.
