50 or 52 MM spacing for PRS with adjustable stoptail?
« on: March 21, 2007, 06:52:45 PM »
Hey Guys,
What spacing do I need for my PRS bridge pickup? I've heard that their stock bridge pickups are trem spaced but I dont know for sure. I have several PRS Singlecuts with adjustable stoptails and would like to know what spacing I need for the bridge and neck pickups. Thanks in advance.

The easiest way to check is to measure the strings over the pickup polepieces.

On my Singlecut SE I took 53 mm for bridge and 50mm neck and it was spot on, but agree, do what gingataff said to make sure.
