I wasnt too impressed with in flames. Never have been, though.

Slayer were consumate. Cant say fairer than that.

The day went to lamb of god. They threw their all into it and the the sound....jesus, it sounded like every bit of kit was on the virge of exploding. Superb.

i loved that tour! i saw them all in Cardiff, Slayer were VERY THRASHY!!! as usual  8)  CoB were very good too, and so were In Flames...
but again, Lamb Of God were the stars of the show, it was amazing, rhythms pumping through the floor, and great brutal tone!!!
haha we missed Thine Eyes Bleed, because we turned up a bit late

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but the walls are usually faked and are just for show, generally only two cabs are used at a time and mic'd up, I know this is definitely true of lamb of god it's on a dvd a friend of mine showed me.

I'm not entirely sure if this is true or not..... but I am led to believe what you see on motorhead stage may be the exception to the rule and that is everything is pretty much being used.

How about Iommi?

Would be a huge waste of time and money if it was fake.

It would be easier just to do it genuinely.

Yeah, it was. I missed thine eyes and caught the end of CoB (who I'm also not really enamoured with, hence the not being fussed about being on time for them, but they did perform very well, great sound)

I was about half way back for LoG, and it sounded great.

'Too trebly' is an opinion, mate. Fair enough, but I didnt find it to be that.

And, yeah, most walls of amps are fake (slayer for example I think had 12 cabs each in inverted crosses but I know they only play through 2 each). However, I saw amp heads and heard a pretty thick tone, and where I see amp heads and hear thick tone I tend to think...walks like a Wall of Death, quacks like a Wall of Death.....

LOG are always great, well, the three times I've seen them they have been (heh)

The Unholy Allience gig at Brixton was patchy - sound guy $%&#ed everyone till In Flames (better) then finally Slayer who had an amazing live sound as always.

Best Slayer gig I've seen was on the God Hates Us all tour with LOG supporting - that was an awesome gig, barely escaped out the pit alive
