yeah, the BFG appeals to me too, although the fact that it costs double here what it costs in the States or Canada pisses me off quite substantially!  that's even worse than the playstation 3!

if you want a good material and sound quality  guitar buy a TOKAI  love rock.

if you you want a gibson that sounds just good you have to give more and more money for a good sound

i have a tokai ls-180 guitar
specs:
1.top        ( one piece maple )
2.back      ( one piece mahogany )
3.fretboard( ebony )
4.long tennon
5.pickups    (bareknuckle  -  ABRAXAS )
6.stp stop tail piece =  aluminium.

Excellent quality and sounding instrument.

second the guild far better quality, feel etc...second hand one even with original non BKP pickups wipe the floor with gibson, sme with the tokai's(higher end ones)

Aye, before going for a cr@p Gibson like that - look at Tokai, Burny, Fernandes and Edwards ESP if you're set on the LP shape.
