I don't have Mules, but VHIIs in a PRS Singlecut SE. If you wanna hear how it sounds in SC mode (I find awesome!) listen to this "Wall Pt2" clip, just so you get an idea:

I have a PRS Singlecut from 2004 and I put in a set of Alnico II mules and they are absolutely amazing.  They've got amazing tone and clarity and they hold up crazy good under high gain and such...they simply rock, if a PAF tone is what you are gooking for then you should totally go for it...
VHII, Rebel Yell set, Mules set with Alnico II neck

I put a set of Mules (not sure about which magnets though) in my SCT.  I had at least several sets of pups in it until I settled on the Mules.  My Mules have 4 conductors.

Until the Mules, all of the other pups I had in the SCT didn't sound very clear in the neck position.  The Mules have the clearest neck tone I've come across.  The Mules are exceptionally clear sounding when clean which some folks might not care for.  I actually use my tone knob now.  The split tones are very good and not too thin like how most split humbuckers sound.

I think the clarity of the Mules is what contributes to the articulation of the pups when pushed into distortion.  These pups will not mush out.  Kudos to Tim and company for making such a great humbucker.

LOL, the Buckeye State is the State of Ohio in the USA.  A buckeye is an acorn that looks like a male (buck) deer's eye.  I'm originally from New York living in Ohio.

Enjoy your BKP's.
