Newly wired pickguard
« on: April 03, 2005, 11:52:42 AM »
I have a Peavey Raptor Special (cheap Strat copy) which was in desperate need of new pickups and wiring, so I sent it to Tim and he wired in a Trilogy Suite for the neck, a Mother's Milk for the middle position and a Nailbomb humbucker for the bridge, as well as new volume and tone controls. It now sounds so full and clear. With my Tonelab, Marshall Valvestate amp and my EQ pedal I can now get pretty much any sound I want. Proof that you don't always have to spend £1000-£2000 on a guitar to get a good sound. The customer service was also excellent. Tim always replied to my emails within a few hours at the most (even one Sunday night) and was very helpful.

Thanks Tim  :D

If you're ever unsure about wiring pickups to a guard, send it in and I'll do it for you.
I know how frustrating it can be if you're unsure of how to do a hook up job-I'm planning a pictoral wiring guide for the site very soon.
