Hi, I know I posted before about wanting a bridge pick-up for my through-neck Mockingbird NJ Classic...  But I finally have the cash to buy one now *hurray*

I've listened to lots (and I mean lots) of clips of the various pickups.  And the 2 that seems to be coming out on top are the Nailbomb & the Mirrical Man.

Just a quick recap on what style I play...

I play rhythm (and a little bit of lead) in a rock band that tune to B E A D F# B (11-58's strings). I use a Marshall JCM800 head (mainly using the Crate Powerblock at the moment untill I sort the Marshall out) through a homemade 2x12" cab loaded with Celestion Vintage 30's & I use a Boss GT-6 multi FX pedal.

You can hear examples of my band's music here

I'm in to bands like Nine Inch Nails, Jimmy Eat World & Tool.  Tone-wise I'm thinking Laterulus era Tool, but maybe a bit heavier.

Sorry for for starting a new topic about this...  but the old one was starting to disapear off the bottom of the page & I figured I'd little more attention this way.  This is a big purchase for me & I just want to make sure I get it right that's all.

Cheers,

Simon

Hi PSY. With the Rebell Yells we have done one small part of the Ten Thousand days stuff(just for the fun of it). I recalled reading that Adam Jones uses SD jb on the bridge on his Silverburst,  I am not sure about the neck pup. Also they make most of their sound by experimenting with selfmade stuff, and this is the hardest part.

Holy Diver bridge for the modern jb vibe, Rebell Yell bridge for the vintage jb vibe. That's how a BKP user describe them. Todos Santos Eric .
