Miracle man vs ceramic warpig
« on: May 16, 2007, 12:32:29 AM »
Is the ceramic warpig more or less scooped in the midrange than the miracle man?

I have one in my Schecter 006 elite which is great but I would like something not as scooped for the bridge position in my ESP SC-600 (the mahogany one) but still a ceramic magnet possibly a little more output. Its general tuned to drop-c to Bb depending on my mood/song and is used for progressive rock / metal, think tool mixed with dreg with some deftones, srata, hurt and killswitch for good measure.

Im also looking for a humbucker for the middle position in the same guitar for sweet cleans and bluesy kind of stuff (for the 'quiet bits' in our songs) as well as big leads preferably alnico and it will have be abled tapped/in parallel when I want. so I was thinking ceramic pig in bridge and alnico in the middle with a coil split.

Any ideas guys?

More.

As in the MM is...

There are other differences but for brevity we'll leave it there.

I believe a painkiller is what youre looking for. The middiest of the high outputters.

Edit: BK dont do a middle humbucker btw. You'd have to ask tim what would work there.
