I am purchasing a new Fender HSS Strat, not yet decided on American or Mexican. Played both at local store and feel about the same. I am going to swap the pickups in whichever one I purchase anyhow. Both are made of Alder with maple necks. I will run this into a Engl Blackmore that I currently own. I play music similar to Bride, Megadeth, Black Label Society, etc so the humbucker needs to fit this style. However I really want a warm fat clean sound from the single coils as well. Like everyone I want it all.....
Which HSS Set would be best for the above setup. I was looking at Dimarzio pickups, but after hearing the sound clips here my interest is peaked currently.
Options I am considering.
Miracle Man w/ 2 Trilogy Suites
Mule w/2 Mothers Milks
If there are other options that would be better or if these are good please let me know. I appreciate any assistance in this area.
