Flight of the (interesting) Bumblebee
« on: May 30, 2007, 09:20:07 PM »
Ok so after watching many clips on lightning fast shread guitarists playing one of my favourite pieces, i decided to see if there were any slightly more interesting versions.

Alexander Dmitriev playing it on an acoardian..

I'l start with Jenifer Batten playing a tapped version frightningly fast
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZBuzbe9xCo.

Next is Terry Ewell on Basson.

A fellow named Maksim, just goes to show not all emo's are talentless w*nkers.

Rafael Mendez playing it on Trumpet (starts at about 1min in)

Ok this one is quite weird. It's by WF-4RII the flute playing robot.

This one is just scary...

My favourite guitar version that i've heard so far would probably be John Petrucci's version, although i don't think it's on youtube :-(.

Jose Feliciano is an amazing player, i love his Malaguena.

having played brass for 4 years when I was a little younger, that trumpet guy is amazing.
It must have Taken years to build up the lung reserves for the mexican hat dance.
The accordion one was pretty impressive as well.
Feline Custom, Fender MIJ mustang bass
Orange rocker 30

im with plastercaster- the Trumpet and Accordian ones were probably the most impressive... and the Korean kid was pretty insane too...

speaking of mental stuff with instruments..

bassists take things much too far:

thats a 12-string bass- like a 12 string guitar but with THREE 'strings-per-string' if you see what i mean... as opposed to 6x2 on a 12-string guitar....
