JACKSON MAKEOVER AN BOOSTER POT NONSENSE

hey guys,i have a pre 2005 jackson dkmg...one witht h turbo charger.i am lookin to strip the electrics out an re spray her as the coblat bluee has taken some punishment.

if i take the guts out an replace the pups i have now with a set of....well nailbombs or else mircale man will i have to put th boost pot back in??? as itys useless an noisey!!!!
ive only been playin half arsed for like 2/3 yrs but wanna get serious b4 i get past it.
i can sort out th paintjob no probs but am not sure on th guts

Hello futuregun....recently fitted a calibrated set of nailbombs to my Ibanez RGT, which is a similar beast to your Jackson.....and they sound superb....I also added a couple of extra pots for independant tone and volume control, but if you don't like the idea of taking a drill to your guitar and want to stick with two pots then I'd say ditch the booster and fit some quality 500k pots and a quality cap.
If you still think you need more boost, go for an external pedal of multi effects unit.

sounds brute!! im not fussed on carving up th jackson im gonna strip her an snad down the edge where your arm rests so its curved more like an ibanez.i think thats comfy.

i may just replace the vol pots but i aint done any mods before but gonna try anyway.i just find the booster pot i have already to be dung an just creates noise when you use it.
i dont thik th nailbombs will need an help.
