Looking at changing out the pups in my CE22. Solid Mahogony, bolt on maple with rosewood board. Looking to keep the 5 way. Although I'm really enjoying playing it the bridge is a little too fizzy under high gain for my liking so looking for something as powerful but less compressed.

Anyone on here made a similar change?

I'm thinking Crawlers or Cold Sweats or even RYells, but have no idea how'd they sound?

I have Rebel Yells in my standard 24 (all mahogany), a Crawler/2xBKP-91 HSS set in my EG4 and I used to have VHII's in my Artist II, but I am now putting in a set of AIV Mules, as I wanted the VHII's for my Zemaitis clone.

The rebel yells give a great sound in mahogany.
