Grovers

I would go with the "self locking" grovers that they have.  They will fit with no extra hole drilling.  I liked sperzels until I got a new neck and removed them from old neck and the cheap, soft, metal of the bushings stripped out to where I couldn't use them for the new neck.  The grover mini locking are great, there's no dial to tighten,  you just put the string through hole, start tightening to pitch, and they lock inside.   There is a slot on top of the post to unlock when destringing.  I will try to find you a link if you want

I have just installed a set of Locking Grovers and they are superb. Easy to install and tuning stabilioty to the maximum. I have had the Sperzals before and they are good but I prefer the Grovers (specially on a L/P)

Are they these ones?

If they are i can't see them fitting on my guitar, the screw place is at too much of an angle whereas the ones on there now are basically perfectly horizontal from the tuner.

i know everyone raves about these grovers but the one set i have used let me down.  It never locked onto the high e string very well at all and we had to wrap the string round the post like normal to get the guitar to function.

i believe all grovers are at that angle too.

most likely sperzels or wilkinsons will be the only ones that will fit without drilling
