Any details on the Manhattan?
« on: July 20, 2007, 06:06:37 AM »
I've wondered about this several times, actually. What is the Manhattan? Besides a P90 in a hb housing, thanks.

In any case, I think an SG will be my next guitar, and I've already decided on a Stormy Monday for the neck, but I need something for the bridge.

My interests really do cover almost everything, actually. But I'm fairly sure that my classic rock/jazz/country/southern/clean type stuff is well taken care of with the SM, so I need something for the harder edge of things. Heavy metal, punk, etc etc.

What do you guys think?
Yeah, well, The Dude abides.

The Manhattan is the working title for a jazz voiced Mississippi Queen-Alnico III and heavy formvar wire with a unique, Art Deco inspired cover.

Here's some pics of the covers. These are regular underneith MQ's though.

I would love to see some pin-striping on those. Maybe in the corners?  :D
