Black Dog Neck Pickup

Well I recently just aquired a Gordon Smith Les Paul, stuck a Nailbomb in the bridge across from my Ibanez guitar which was being sold.

I really wasn't keen on the GS Original pickups at all so I went into town to the local BKP dealer and they had a Black Dog neck in stock, bought it and wow! what a freaking great pickup! Very warm articulate and singy!

Recommended neck choice!

Huh, that sounds similar to the Holy Diver neck.

just because it reads the same and has the same magnet does not mean it will sound the same.....

Contrary to typical shredder logic, I find that a low output neck pup sounds WAY better than a high output one!! Nice choice, can't wait to hear clips.

I have no idea how it sounds.  I was merely commenting that the specs were similar.

I'm with TO low output pickups in the neck position sound awesome.

Im so impressed im getting the BD for the Bridge as well..

TO im also of the school low output pickups sound better for high gain they retain a bigger stronger more ballsy sound, they're harder to master for sure but they're totally worth the hassle tonally.
