i think, if the V i specced with feline would go in production @ gibson, it would sell like hotcakes

I'm hoping it would go like hotcakes @ Feline  :P

i actually don't have a problem with gibson, i have a faded V myself and i like it. i just don't think they should've mixed in the 3rd pickup. actually, its not as bad knowing that they still sell the regular faded, i thought this replaced it. still, in my opinion, if i saw someone playing it all i'd be thinking is noooob...

you're gonna hate my v with strat electrics!!! 8)

seriously though, what's so bad about it? we don't throw the dummy out of the pram when we see a strat with a bridge humbucker, or most other common variations on the classics.  and anyway, isn't it part of Gibson's guitar of the month thing?  you won't have to worry about it for long. unless it's popular, in which case we'll all be playing them next year!!!

its funny, because i'd actually think that'd be cool.  i don't know what it is, i just don't like a guitar with 3 humbuckers, it just seems too much. I thought the Les Paul was maybe ok with three, then i recently saw the SG with three, and now the V. I just don't think its necessary, i guess it's because i'm more of a simplistic kind of player, don't really see the need for too many different options.

aye, fair enough.  it'd be different if they were actually replacing the standard two humbucker version, at least now you know you hate this one!  :P  i'm seriously wondering now about one with strat electrics
