Well I just got the Powerball through the door this morning and my god is this thing a monster! There's so much low end it's unreal. It's pretty clear too, a bit fizzier than the Laney but I expected that with such a high gain amp but it's still cool. I'm happy  :D

so how does this affect the amp? I have a old JMP 1978 and odd thing is it seems  :roll:  that is was more low endish and other times more trebly....
now it is always on trebly side??? My mind? Ears?

the guitar shop near mine has a used hot rodded jcm 800 for £300, needs new tubes, I think it's the original version, it's oh so tempting!!! (used to be my dream amp when I was a n00b)

I think I'm gunna keep saving for my ENGL fireball though, still so tempting!!!
