I agree. Also the strings thread a few months back. Can anyone really hear the difference from one brand to another from a fresh set of strings? Maybe it'll all go Eric Johnson in here and they'll be a thread, 'Which batterys give the best tone in an overdrive pedal'  :?


Man, i can hear a difference and that is why i $%&#in hate Ernie Ball strings, they sound like shitee.  I haven't tried out too many brands, but they are awful, everything in comparison sounds better.

And batteries do change the tone of a pedal - Dramatically in some cases.

If you're using poor quality batteries, then the pedal won't get nearly enough power, compared to a good stable Transformer.
