Drummer (Roxy) went on to pay in Vixen, while it's her sister Maxine on guitar

I had forgotten how good Stryper were musically
It sounds like good prog rock of it's day not unlike Queensryche or Fates Warning , but I just got irritated with the overblown "Jesus wants me for a sunbeam" angle they had.

With regular lyrics they may not have had as much attention as they got but more fans may have stuck with them musically

I've still got that album, on vinyl.  :oops:  :lol:

There was another good Christian metal band, Whitecross.  They didn't have Stryper's looks  :lol: , but they had a terrific VH-ish guitarist called Rex Carroll.
