Got to Meet them years ago when I kinda blagged my way onto the guestlist when a band called B.L.O.W. we're supporting them on tour at aheffield, lovely bunch of blokes & I actually got to hand luke morley one of his guitars at the side of the stage...his guitar tech wasn't very happy like...but I was verrry drunk at the time!

I believe I saw them about four times for between Laughing on Judgement day and Behind closed doors. They had some superb material. Back Street Symphony was always sweet and River of pain, great stuff. They seemed to tour with Skin alot, who I actually preferred as they had more guitar silliness. Alas they went the grungey route and ruined themselves :( . I think I last saw the Skin guitarist with Right said Fred...For shame!! And as for BLOW, That featured Bruce J Dickinson of the Little Angels, Now that was a sweet band.

They have aged better than two of the members of Badfinger. I meant that to be funny but it isn't really is it?

Let's be realistic - being in a rock band is hardly condusive to "aging well" :)  :) .

I think they look quite embryonic compares to this:- http://southdakotapolitics.blogs.com/south_dakota_politics/images/keithrichards.jpg

Some of Keef's quotes:-
"When I listen to what I did under the influence - 10 years of work - I don't think it either enhanced or impaired me. I didn't have that much to do with it. "
"I never thought I was wasted, but I probably was."
"I've never had a problem with drugs. I've had problems with the police."
"I only get ill when I give up drugs."
"As Charlie put it, 'One minute I'm standing at Ronnie Scott's getting a standing ovation and the next minute, I'm on a marble slab."
After being asked to "keep steady" by the producer of the last Pirates of the Carribean whilst they filmed him in his role as Johnny Depp's father, a very intoxicated Keith replied, "Look, if you wanted steady, you got the wrong f***ing guy." (Apparently some clips were filmed above waist height with someone crouching on the floor holding his legs steady

It's amazing how he seems to have transformed into a Native American.  And I'm not even joking, he looks like Chief Red Cloud:
