Cheers for all the pics, havent decided which I'll use yet, but it'll be the more "professional" looking ones. Will PM whoever I chose to use if I cant see the name of the photographer on any of your websites!

Well heres what I have for this cover so far. Still need to add the band names at the bottom (hopefully Adam.M will give me permission to use his photo of who I think is JamesHealey :))

Any comments, constructive criticism etc? Obviously this isnt the size/quality of the finished one as will be A4 and wont have the cr@p aliasing on the fonts which happened when I resized. I may change the picture of psy's band as its a bit dark compared to the rest.

Would you buy a mag with this cover? :P Probably not.

Heres one with white font, I cant tell which I prefer

Which do you think? The only thing is I'm not sure if the project is being marked on how well it suits the purpose or how well we've used different techniques to blend images together, in which case the one with fretboard underneath the font would be best as it uses more techniques, but isnt as bold and eye catching as the white text.

I like the white font-
you really need to add some more text, saying what's going on inside the magazine; very rare you see a magazine that doesn't say anything about its contents on the cover
LOVING the Mules!

I like the fretboard idea in the mag's title, but why not use a maple fretboard to make it stand out. The cover is dark so the rosewood doesn't 'pop' out. Maybe the maple will.

Also tom, the font that says "interviews with" isn't really very clear at all. Might wanna change that to a white as well. But looks cool overall

Its much clearer on the full size one, but I changed the opacity which makes it stand out a bit more without being too much. It still looks shite on the resized one though :( Here it is with a bit more added to it:

edit - added some more stuff :)

Cheers :) Changed a few things round and I think it looks a bit better (also got rid of the arctic monkeys song tabbed :P)

I think that may do for now unless someone can suggest some more changes?

So theres not going to be a maple fretboard as the title?
Thats the only change I can think of that would look nice :)

Good job!
