People in bands, I need your help!
« on: November 26, 2007, 12:28:56 AM »
Basically, for an assignment in one of my modules at uni I have to make a montage of various photos and text, so I thought I would do a guitar magazine cover. I allready took the main photos but apparently I need 5, so was thinking about having some small photos of bands at the bottom like mags sometimes do. The assignment thing says only 2 photos have to be taken by me, so does anyone have any decent band photos I could use? I obviously wont take the credit for these photos, and the assessment is more on if its blended in well with the rest of the montage rather than the actual photos.

It'll be free advertisement for your band, at least advertising in my photoshop group

Cheers :)

Here's one of me and the pop band I'm in.

It's odd, though; I realize now all the gig pics I have are with the pop band...

It's a sign! Rock is dead. POP RULES!

Just kidding

EDIT: Yes, what I'm playing is called a piano. It doesn't have strings or any BKP's...
BKP guitars:

Gibson LP Studio (MM bridge, CS neck)

If you're after any of a girly playing guitar & singing then we've got a whole bunch of them up on my band's MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/worldis  I'm on there too, but I'm less interesting.

Cheers :) Adam, those pics look so good, will definitely be using some of those if its ok with you! Does everyone here actually know who took their photos and do I have permission to use them as long as they're written in my refs? I need to have the name of the photographer to put in my references I think.

I know who took all of ours if you want to use any.  And they'd be just as happy for any exposure as much as the band would :)

Tom, all the White Lines pics were taken by Eddie Howland and I am sure he'd welcome the exposure if you forgive the pun. How arrogant of me to assume you will want them eh?

In the off-chance that you wanna use our cheesy pop-band pic, the photographer was named Eric Thompson, and he was a friend doing us a favor, so you can use it if you want. No problem  ;)
