Any advice please on pick ups for Ibanez Artcore - (semi-hollowbody) currently has stock ACH1/2, but looking for something with real growl and attack -

Riff Raffs have a nice growl to them. Rebel Yells are very growly but might be a little too high output for a semi hollow guitar.

Or.......read your PM.

Thanks RatRod - do you recommend any place partic to purchase? I really like that sound Jack thingy has with White Stripes - would the Riff Raff be anywhere near?

In my Epi Dot (ES 335, basically) I have a Nailbomb in the bridge and an MQ in the neck, and it sounds sex-tastic!

The Nailbomb really let's you hear the woodiness of the semi-hollow, even under some pretty heavy distortion, and the MQ neck still let's you hear that woodiness, but it bites like Cujo.

Ok, there ya go. My 2 cents  ;)
BKP guitars:
Epiphone Dot Studio (NB bridge, MQ neck)
Gibson LP Studio (MM bridge, CS neck)

You can simply order them at the webshop.

Jack White plays a 60's Airline, the Riff Raff is a 60's voiced pickup. I'm shure it will manage.
