There were 2 in towners and 1 out of towner last night.

The closest there has been to a London meet was at Feline before LGS, where there were 4 of us there, but tea was the drink of the day.  The other was organized by the NY (and NJ) chapter, at LGS when we all went to the pub on Saturday evening, there were 5 of us there (Jonathan, Afghan Dave, Davey, TO & myself).  The year before we had Johnny Mac, Jay Palmer, TO & me.  Then Brow, Davey, TO and me went on a brewery tour of Yorkshire.  

Have you spotted any similarity in these (a clue - who is at all of them?).

I'd be up for it but I have the best of excuses: I am gigging every weekend through to March so far ( cos I am in two bands) and many of those weekends have two gigs-plus I have to help Mrs 38th in her shop on Saturdays.  I could, I suppose, have my own BKP drink up at home and drink enough for three-will that qualify?

i want real-time conversations about guitars and other allsorted cr@p over a beer... i'm sensing lameness already in this thread ;)

all i had to do to show my interest in an nyc meet was email TO that i was playing a show in town and maybe him and phil want to meet for a drink. ben did the organisational honours and we met for several jars on the only night available. nothing could have been easier!

BKP London Xmas drink is a great idea: Lets not lame out this time, I dont want to wait for LGS ;)

edit (to fix days):
i'm playing one or two shows in tokyo 12th->19th december. except for these dates i can meet for a drink. i can accomodate one 'out of towner' at my place (twinfan?) to make this happen.

edit:
my promise: if theres two BKP people meeting in a pub within 1 hour travel of london, i will make it 3 if i'm in the country.
