I would love to meet up with some of the forumites, and Eurostar only takes 2h from Brussels now, so why not? Wanted to visit LGS anyway one day...

Couldn't we do some kind of playing/drinking/talking thingy? I mean like having a session duo bass/drums who know most classic rock songs then all forumites can present their tones live all on the same amp setting or sth?

Hmmm, yep I think I would like to do this and sure I'd play bass but Carlaz also plays bass and if he is back in UK maybe he and I could share bass duties. I would like to join my six (and seven) stringed friends though but I am an old git and am not familiar with these death metal type chappies though I am sure they are nice boys at heart and are good to their Mums.As always with me it is gigs permitting.I have one booked for 14th June though.
Send three and fourpence we're going to a dance

Sounds likea good idea. If we don't get in a studio, even a night in a pub would still be a great thing to do.  :D

When Seymour Duncan was in the UK a few years ago they organised a seminar/jam in a hotel in Birmingham for Forum Members.

It was a great night and went very well, so I'm sure we could do something great too :)

Count me in aslong as I remember to book time off work, and can find people to share a hotel with

Sounds good mate :D

If Ben and Phil are here for the full 4 days of the show, could make a 4-day bender out of it

Sounds like this is going to have legs so I'll make some inquiries and see if there's somewhere we can all meet up.

There's a travelodge about 500m away from Excel.  A lot of people were staying there last year.

Theres 4 or 5 travellodges within a mile or so of the Excel centre (and another one being built as I remember), plus a couple over at Beckton which is only a couple of DLR stops (or 20 minutes the N50 night bus)
