Is it not a Sinner with extra winds... voiced the same as the Sinner, just about 20k resistance or something

I believe "uber" is just a nick-name for an overwound and thus brewtally methull Sinner. :D

It must cause a nationwide shortage of enamel wire every time Tim makes one of those...

f*ck sake, a 22k single coil - thats Warpig territory  :o

It 'almost' makes me want to buy a Strat to try one out.

Flip me. I thought that my Trinity Suite bridge was loud.

If anything it sounds quite a bit hotter than a pig. The fact its a single coil means it screams. And I dont know what it sounds like without it, but I got a zinc-steel base plate and the low end is thunderous. Pretty tight too.

Hi guys, first post.

I ordered a calibrated Ceramic Warpig/Sinner set for my '91 ESP Horizon custom and whilst the C-Pig is absolute perfection, the Sinner is simply ridiculous. Both rated at 23k but the Sinner is wound down as low as I can get it but still screams and is on the edge of feeding back unless I back the vol off a bit.
I have never had to do that before in my life and this is a single Coil!!!!!
Outrageous.
It does sound like a single coil and yet .....doesnt. More like a P90 possesed with Satans own soul.

Ubersinner is one way of describing it. I'd call it a Blasphemer!

Welcome, raven.

And if you put a sinner in a neck position then you are even more of a mental-ouput-pickup-freak than I (and my warpigs, sinner and 23k miracle man).  8)

Thanks man.

Tim suggested it. I thought I was getting a "normal"    Sinner and then this 23k freak showed up.

I'm still not 100% sure its not too much and bear in mind I'll be using this guitar for Death and Thrash metal.

Sod it. In for a penny, in for a pound of sound.

Could you be utterly ridiculous and rig two uber-sinners together in the form of a humbucker? Would that destroy the world?

I was thinking the same thing, but I doubt even the ghost of Evel Knieval would try that.

Well, you could. If you wanted the pickup equivalent of the Bugatti Veyron. Be warned, it will turn you into Jeremy Clarkson :)
